I am a San Francisco-based scientist and artist working across research, illustration, and data visualization.

I currently work as a cancer biology scientist in the Translational Medicine department at Genentech. I received my PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCSF in June 2024, where I used optogenetics to study transcription, using a blend of experimental, and computational approaches. Previously, I was a research technician at Northwestern.

In the past, I have illustrated for clients such as Zocalo, the MLS USMNT, and Combap Mart. I received my Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics from University of Washington in 2015.
